As a former and current Youtube Addict, I remembered when Youtube put out ads for the Life in a Day documentary. I thought about making a video, but realized that the quality of my video wouldn’t be good enough to send for publication in a movie. Also, my life as a 21 year old in Washington DC wasn’t the most interesting. But what is interesting, anyway? It’s all relative.
For y’all who don’t know, Youtube’s Day in the Life is a documentary/film like project where Youtube users would send in a clip of their life on July 24th 2010.
You are required to answer three questions:
1. What do you love?
2. What do you fear?
3. What makes you laugh?
Watching the trailer gave me chills… I’m really glad a film is coming out capturing people’s lives everywhere around the world. Even though we look different and speak different languages, we’re really all the same, in the end. I wouldn’t be surprised if all our loves, fears, and laughs were the same, across the world.
I think all the social networking sites should collaborate and create one social networking site with every single social networking functionality included in it… I think people will gradually get sick of all these new networking sites (much like how there are so many deals sites!)
Google+Microsoft should think of new venues to go into, not just copy other venues that are pretty much saturated…
