I was able to connect with so many talented, ambitious women who shared the same vision as I did. Although it was so much work (got up at 7 and got back at 1am) it seriously the most productive I have EVER been in my life.
My secret passion and hobby was suddenly exposed to the world, and now it feels liberating just to be myself. I don’t have to pretend or hide anymore. I’m passionate about this, and I will continue to do this as long as I shall live! My mom told me, ever since I was 2 years old, I’ve always had this obsession for trying on her makeup. I guess you can tell what a person is really like when they are young, because they don’t really try to “prove” anything to anyone.
I was so lucky to have such a great team. A few teams actually dropped out from the pitch. Our team worked out well, because we, one, shared the same vision, two, complemented each other well, and three, my team was able to put up with me 🙂 teehee
Anyway, have a good night my loves!
To all those people…
1. Teased me about being Asian by pulling their eyes and calling me “Chinese Butthead”
2. To those advertisements that pray on your insecurities by stating you won’t be happy until you have flawless skin or lips like Angelina Jolie’s
3. To all those men who rate women objectively with their 1-10 rating scale, with 10 being unattainable
I am changing that
You go girl!!! I’m glad 5 year old girls think this way!
I hate it when people say “that’s hard to get into” or “that’s hard to do” when I tell them I want to do or get into something.
It’s like, “so?” What does that mean? Does that mean you think I can’t do it? Or I should give up because it’s “hard”?
So many people in my life have told me I couldn’t do things or I shouldn’t do things because they were “difficult”. Well I love proving people wrong who tell me I shouldn’t do something because it’s too challenging.
I may be young, idealistic, and energetic, but if you look at all the people who’ve made great innovations and progressions in society, they’ve all been “young, idealistic, and energetic”
Great Article, I think about this all the time
I think a company should focus on hiring people who may not have the most impressive resume or greatest work experience, but people who really want to be part of the company and/or is passionate about the work. I think energy is really important to someone’s work and success.
What is talent anyway? As my favorite book is titled, “Talent is Overrated”
Here is WSJ article on it
She is hilarious! I’ve been watching her ever since she started Youtube

Random note, my MAC came in the mail today (Mac as in Apple, not as in MAC Cosmetics). If I’m gonna be serious about video editing, then Apple is the way to go. As user friendly as macs may be, I’m having a hard time learning how to do very simple functions (IE copy/paste, downloading programs, etc)
Today was just one of those days where I took a long nap (been sleep deprived for a while), drank homemade chicken noodle soup, took a lavender bubble bath, wrote a to-do list of what I want to accomplish in my life (more like a bucket list), and watched Community Channel.
